FOLK WEEKEND 2012:

A FREE WEEKEND

of Music Sessions and Singarounds  

in and around the

'famed city of Robin Hood's Bay'

on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast.


OUTLINE PROGRAMME:

Take place in the Big Room of the Dolphin:

(Except the Last Survivor's Session)

Friday 15th: Club Night from 8.30 -ish - MC Jim


Saturday 16th: Lunchtime Session with Nick and Christine

                        - from around Noon

1.30 pm : Performance by the Fyling Hall Folk Orchestra

- if fine, in the Dock, if wet, in Ye Dolphin.

 Evening Session with Ken - from 8.30 - ish


Sunday 17th:  Lunchtime Session with Volunteer(s) Required

(Bill Adair now has a gig in Switzerland) - from around Noon

 Last Survivor’s Session with (Volunteer Required) - from 8.30 - ish

The Bay Folk Club meets every Friday Evening in the big room of Ye Dolphin,

on King Street in the old village of Robin Hood’s Bay,

and keeps alive the local tradition of music and singing.

We usually start between 8.30 and 9.00 p.m.


There is  NO ADMISSION CHARGE

but we do have the famous  EXHORBITANT RAFFLE

which raises funds for the guest artists that are booked from time to time.
