A WEEKEND FULL

of Concerts, Music Sessions, Dance and Singarounds

in and around the 'famed city of Robin Hood's Bay'

on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast.

The re-opened Dolphin is the venue for many events, including

the Friday Night Folk Club, the Saturday & Sunday Sessions

and the Saturday Night Concert.

OUTLINE PROGRAMME: These are the Organised? Events.

You will find informal performances - the Acoustic Cafe Dash - this takes some very accomplished

 singers & musicians round most of the village pubs & cafes during the day on

Saturday & Sunday and helps raise funds for the RNLI Lifeboats.

There are Singaround Sessions/ Open Mic all weekend in The Bay Hotel and The Smugglers

We are looking forward to welcoming once again the Thieving Magpies Dance Team

Friday 5th:

18.00 - 19.00 Happy Hour in The Dolphin with Rob Parker

19.30 - Late:  Folk Club Night in The Dolphin with The Smugglers

 MC Garry Burnett. FREE Entry.

Saturday 6th:

Late Morning, Lunchtime and Afternoon: Acoustic Cafe Dash - all round the village.

Collection for the RNLI.

In The Dolphin: 10.30 - 13.00 All singers & musicians welcome

13.00 - 15.00 Free for all: ‘Dylan, Guthrie & Friends’

- hosted by Ken McCall, Joe Gibbins & Gary Hammond

15.00 - 17.00 ‘It’s Only Words’ - a spoken word session hosted by Suzanne Elvidge & Steve Hoey

15.00 - 17.00 Open mic session with Dave’s Mate

In St Stephen’s Church, Thorpe Lane:18.00 - 19.30 In concert: Rob Parker supported by George Husband.

19.00 - 23.00: FESTIVAL CONCERT in The Dolphin with Forest Folk & Steam Pigeon

Plus singers & musicians - hosted by Garry Burnett

 Sunday 7th:

10.30 at St Stephen’s Church, Thorpe Lane: Folk Service with Rob Parker

Late Morning, Lunchtime and Afternoon: Acoustic Cafe Dash - all round the village.

                                              The Bay Folk Club now meets every Friday Evening                     of the month back home in The Dolphin

The Dolphin is way down on King Street in the old village of Robin Hood’s Bay,

where we keep alive the local tradition of music and song.

We start at 8.00 p.m.
